Day 01: Colombo Arrival

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, your chauffeur guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Colombo, the vibrant capital city of Sri Lanka.

Day 02: Colombo

Start your day with a guided walking tour of the Colombo Fort area, led by our resident expert. Explore the bustling Pettah markets, the historic Dutch Hospital shopping precinct, the old Fort, and the picturesque Galle Face Green. In the afternoon, visit the Barefoot Gallery, known for its colourful textiles and homeware items, or enjoy a meal at the Paradise Road Gallery Café, offering a delightful culinary experience.

Day 03: Colombo – Sigiriya – Anuradhapura

After breakfast, depart for Sigiriya for a two-night stay. Check into your hotel to enjoy a leisurely day. Discover its UNESCO-listed ruins, including a 13-meter-high Buddha statue and the revered Bodhi Tree relic. Day 04: Sigiriya – Minneriya

Upon arrival in Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling wildlife jeep safari in Yala National Park, where you can spot leopards, bears, elephants, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy a delightful dinner and settle in for the night at the designated hotel, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing.

Day 09: Yala – Galle

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, our chauffeur guide will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight home to Singapore, marking the end of your memorable journey through the highlights of Sri Lanka.

Please note: This itinerary is designed to give you an idea of what to expect on the tour but is not set in stone. What we actually do on a given day is flexible and can be tailored based on the interests of the group. Moreover, it is important to note that there have been delays in the train timings quite often. The purchase of train tickets cannot be guaranteed currently due to the process in place within the Sri Lanka Railways Department especially during peak periods. Travel tickets are issued 30 days in advance of travel, are limited and are extremely difficult to obtain. In the unlikely event a ticket/s cannot be obtained, we will of course make the necessary refunds & the clients will travel by road. This is a destination issue and the best expectations are managed accordingly.
