Itinerary:

DAY 1: SINGAPORE – BARCELONA

Troop down to Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Barcelona, Spain.

 

DAY 2: BARCELONA

This morning, say “Hola Barcelona” to the 2nd-largest city in Spain in both size and population. Barcelona has a pleasant Mediterranean climate and stands on a plain that slopes gently down from Sierra de Collserola to the sea.

Upon arrival in Barcelona, be greeted by your personal host at the airport and take a private transfer to your 5* hotel.

Spend the afternoon at your leisure. We recommend that you visit the waterfront by the old port, see the Columbus monument and new port which were constructed for the 1992 Summer Olympics.

Then, head to Montjuic where you can appreciate outstanding views of the city. Montjuic is a famous hill that stands 1,988 feet (606 meters) high and overlooks the Port of Barcelona. You can also take the Montjuic Cable Car from the metro station near Olympic Park, which takes you up to the 17th century Castle Montjuic and offers panoramic views of the city.

In the evening, stop by the stunning fountain in front of the castle is breathtaking any time of day but the view at sunset is extra special. When the sun goes down over the city, make sure you're near the Magic Fountain of Montjuic and watch the dazzling display of water and coloured lights that occur after dark.

DAY 3: BARCELONA

This morning after breakfast, embark on a private biking excursion to take in the main highlights of Barcelona together with your local guide. Alternatively, you may request a private car transfer.

Kickstart your journey with a ride through the city at a relaxed paced, stopping frequently at the best monuments along the way, so you can hear about the culture behind them. Ride to the Arc de Triomf and Ciutadella Park.  The Arc de Triomf was built as the gateway to the fair which was held in the Parc de la Ciutadella. The monument is classical in shape and proportions and features ground-breaking sculptural and decorative finishes replete with symbolism, making it one of the city's iconic landmarks.

Then, visit the city’s spectacular icon, Sagrada Familia, a UNESCO WORLD Heritage Site and a grand unfinished magnum opus by renowned Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudi. Next, survey through other UNESCO listed Gaudi masterpieces such as Casa Mila and Casa Batllo.

In the afternoon, explore Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya, the largest square in Barcelona and home to some of Spain’s most famous streets lined with cafes, restaurants and kiosks. Along here, apart from the amazing acts of performing street artists, you can also watch the world go by at one of its cafes. Opt to have some churros and dip it into a cup of thick and piping hot chocolate that will define a whole new world of awesome for your palate. You have been told so miss it at your peril.

After touring Barcelona's streets, experience an even more exclusive city tour as you take to the skies on a helicopter tour. Experience a spectacular adventure, fly above beautiful Barcelona with stunning panoramic views on coastline & attractions.

DAY 4: BARCELONA – MADRID

After breakfast, travel to the nation's capital from Barcelona to Madrid to Barcelona in a high-speed train and arrive in just under 3 hours.

Upon arrival in Madrid, check into your luxury hotel. Then, make a visit to Gran Vía, a hustling and bustling part of Madrid‘s city centre, and Madrid's answer to Broadway. Watch the Lion King, the Cirque du Soleil, Les Miserables, flamenco, a stand-up comedy performance, ballet or great Spanish plays at one of the many venues on and around the Gran Vía.

When night falls, experience Madrid's world-class culinary scene. Dine amid history, head to Casa Botín in the city centre for dinner. Casa Botín, founded in 1725, is the oldest restaurant in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records and a benchmark of Madrid’s best traditional cuisine.

Forbes magazine gave the House third place in the list of the world’s top 10 classic restaurants, together with its two specialities, the delicious suckling pig and lamb roasted in the Castilian style.

DAY 5: MADRID

This morning after breakfast, meet with your expert guide at the lobby of your hotel. Enjoy a historical tour of Madrid’s royal heritage and let your imagination fly with the stories and legends surrounding the kings of Spain.

The Spanish Crown and the Spanish Empire have been linked to two great European dynasties for centuries: the Habsburgs, Austria’s Imperial family, and, since the eighteenth century, France’s Royal family: the Bourbons.

Visits Madrid’s Royal Palace, including several rooms and official halls which are not open to the public, as well as visits to some of the city’s oldest and most beautiful churches and convents, as well as a day trip to the palace-monastery of El Escorial, and its Royal Mausoleum. Visit Phillip's palace-monastery of El Escorial, and admire its impressive library, home to invaluable antique books from all over the world

After which, if you’re a fan of Sports, make a visit to Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, the 81,000-seat stadium home to the Real Madrid football club. Explore the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium — home of Real Madrid soccer team. Free from match-day crowds, gain VIP access to the stadium’s press room, the presidential box and the changing area alongside a professional guide. Then, visit the on-site museum to admire trophies and exhibits that chronicle the team’s prosperous history.

In the evening, take a stroll along Fuencarral Street, a popular downtown shopping area full of upscale brands and designer boutiques.

DAY 6: MADRID

From haute couture to today’s trendiest brands, such as Mango, Custo Barcelona, DELPOZO, or Zara, you can’t talk about fashion without talking about Spain and its centuries-old influence on the world of style. Today, you will spend your day shopping for the latest trends.

Whether you are shopping for men’s or women’s fashion, spend a day shopping, accompanied by an exceptional Personal Shopper, who will introduce you to the city’s most exclusive and interesting stores, where you will be waited on exquisitely at all times. Visit the premises of fashion’s most important brands, where you will be able to purchase the season’s trendiest garments, accessories and shoes.

Prior to this experience, an image consultant will send you a questionnaire to get to know your style better. Your favourite brands, as well as your size, measurements, age and budget.

In the afternoon, meet your fashion consultant to discuss the day’s plans and its goals. Stop by exclusive stores and boutiques which have been preselected according to your tastes and style and where you will be shown garments and accessories which have been previously hand-picked and are ready for you to try them on straight away in your size.

DAY 7:  MADRID – SEVILLE

After breakfast in Madrid, a driver will pick you up at your hotel for the transfer to Atocha Train Station where you'll board a high-speed train to Seville, the 4th-largest city in Spain. The journey is a pleasant three hours, during which you can relax in your reclining seat and watch Spain's beautiful landscapes pass by through the window.

Upon arrival in Seville, a driver will meet you for the transfer to your hotel for check-in. Then, go on a private boating tour down the Guadalquivir River. A journey along the river will provide a unique insight into the surprising and ancient history of Seville.

Cruise along the city’s main river and enjoy the wonderful views of Seville’s most beautiful panoramas, including the historical centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for some years now. Observe the picturesque 19th-century popular houses of Triana and the enchanting bridges. You will also sail around the Parque de Maria Luisa to get a view of the 1929 Ibero-American Exhibition.

End the day in Seville at one of the city's famous tapas bars to sample Spain's mouth-watering small plates and learn about Seville's renowned tapas scene.

DAY 8: SEVILLE

Today, after breakfast, make a visit two of the city's three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Royal Alcázar of Seville and the Cathedral of Seville, and explore them without waiting in line. Learn about the city's rich history, from its royal heritage to the lives of its average citizens.

Your morning will begin at Santa Cruz´s quarter. Discover the old Jewish´s quarter, a labyrinth formed by narrow streets that leads to the famous Plaza de los Venerables.  Pass by beautiful spots and visit a hidden gem, where your local guide will introduce you to an old legend of the Jewish community. Admire the beauty of Santa Cruz by its little streets and plazas and let your local host explain to you all about the historical events that happened here.

Then, we make a stop at Real Alcazar de Sevilla. The Real Alcazar of Seville is a group of palaces surrounded by a wall, different styles have been used (Islamic-Mudejar and Gothic). This place is usually used as accommodation place for the Royal Spanish House, is the oldest royal palace in Europe, as recorded by Unesco.

After which, visit The Cathedral of Seville, the largest Christian Gothic cathedral in the world. Unesco declared it in 1987 a World Heritage Site and, on July 25, 2010, a Site of Outstanding Universal Value. Of the old Aljama Mosque in Seville, the minaret (the Giralda) and the Patio de los Naranjos are preserved since the original. The temple keeps the mortal remains of Christopher Columbus.

DAY 9: SEVILLE - MADRID – SINGAPORE

After a leisurely breakfast, a driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the train station in Seville. You will then board a high-speed train for the three-hour journey to Madrid.

You will then transfer to the airport for your flight home. Adios!

 

DAY 10:  ARRIVE IN SINGAPORE
