Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, you will be greeted with a traditional Mongolian welcome ceremony, setting the tone for your adventure in the "Land of the Eternal Blue Sky." After the warm reception, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and some rest. In the evening, enjoy a specially arranged welcome dinner at a traditional Mongolian restaurant, where you can savour local delicacies such as buuz (steamed dumplings) and khuushuur (fried dumplings).

Day 2: Ulaanbaatar - Karakorum
After breakfast, depart Ulaanbaatar for Karakorum, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The scenic drive will take you through sweeping plains dotted with traditional Gers (yurts) and herds of horses and sheep. Along the way, stop at a Mongol Nomadic ger camp and enjoy lunch, which will be followed by a Nomadic Show, a vibrant display of traditional Mongolian culture, lifestyle, and heritage. This live performance showcases the everyday activities and customs of nomadic life, passed down through generations. You’ll have the chance to try your hand at Mongolian archery and dress up in traditional costumes for memorable photos. Arrive in Karakorum and check into a Ger camp, where you’ll spend the night under the vast Mongolian sky. After dinner, enjoy stargazing, and if the weather permits, marvel at the stunning constellations and glowing planets.

Day 3: Karakorum – Elsen Tasarkhai
Start your day with a visit to the Erdenezuu Monastery, one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in Mongolia, located within the UNESCO-listed Orkhon Valley. From Khaadiin Khad Hill, enjoy panoramic views of the ancient capital’s ruins. Continue your journey to Elsen Tasarkhai, a breathtaking area featuring a mix of rocky mountains and sand dunes. Spend the afternoon hiking the dunes and capturing the dramatic semi-desert landscape, perfect for photography. In the evening, relax at your Ger camp, soaking in the magnificent sunset views and indulging in more stargazing.

Day 4: Elsen Tasarkhai - Ulaanbaatar
Return to Ulaanbaatar and visit the Museum of National History, which showcases Mongolia’s rich history from the Stone Age to modern times, with a special focus on nomadic culture. Next, stop at Sukhbaatar Square, the central point of Ulaanbaatar, where you can see a statue of Sukhbaatar, a national hero. In the evening, enjoy a cultural performance featuring traditional Mongolian music, horse-headed fiddles, throat singing, and contortion.

Day 5: Ulaanbaatar - Terelj National Park

Next, drive to the Statue Complex of Chinggis Khaan and enjoy panoramic views from the Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue. Continue your journey to Terelj National Park, where you’ll stay in a Ger camp surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. In the evening, savor a traditional lamb barbecue dinner (khorkhog) and relax in the serene Mongolian wilderness.

Later, experience authentic nomadic life by visiting a Nomadic Home, where you can interact with local herders and learn about their daily routines, traditions, and customs. Return to Ulaanbaatar in the evening for a leisurely night.

Spend the rest of the day wandering in Ulaanbaatar, soaking in the laid-back atmosphere or enjoying local treats. In the evening, treat yourself to a delicious hotpot dinner at the world’s largest hotpot restaurant in Ulaanbaatar.
